Gin head is a significant part of the East Lothian coastline, surrounded by sensational rock formations, emerald cliffs and mesmerising infinite seas. The site original built as a top secret Radar Station in 1943 due to its private cliff top location and panoramic uninterrupted outlook over the sea. The UK faces a desperate housing crisis; we need to build at least 340,000 homes per year to meet the demand. Too many of the new houses being built in Britain are unaffordable or badly constructed. The aim is to create a micro village for low and middle income families to use daily and to help tackle the housing issue in the local area of North Berwick, East Lothian.
